After being fired from the Abbey Musinguzi alias Abtex-led Abtex Promotions music camp, singer Serena Bata is in hot water. Serena Bata got fired from the Abitex promotion team.
She violated the contract that she signed with her supervisors at Abtex Promotions, which is why she was fired.
According to a post on Abtex Promotions’ official Facebook page, the “Bikalubye” singer broke her contract by performing at an unscheduled event and using marijuana in public.

Serena Bata will, however, perform at all previous Abtex Promotions-booked events, including those during the festival season, the post emphasizes. After those events, Serena Bata will pack her bags and look for a new place to live.
The note also states that Abtex Promotions puts customers first and that artists must always uphold cultural norms or risk repercussions.

Serena Bata was previously employed by Sipapa Entertainment, which was run by her then-lover Charles Olim, also known as Sipapa, before she joined Abtex Promotions.
After working there for two and a half years, she moved on to Abtex Promotions.
