Kin Kariisa, the CEO of Next Media in Uganda, has resigned from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Eco Bank Uganda. (Kin Kariisa – CEO of NBS TV – has finally stepped down)
Kin made an announcement on Friday via his social media accounts thanking Eco Bank for the opportunity and thanking his colleagues’ members for gladly working with him.
“Thank you for almost ten years of wonderful memories, lessons, and innovation, Eco Bank Uganda.” It’s been a joy being your Board Chairman, my fellow Board Members, the Managing Directors we’ve had, and the workforce.
“I am very pleased to leave with a #Uganda-n WOMAN (Grace Muliisa) as Managing Director, where we found ex-pats,” he wrote on Facebook.
Ecobank Uganda first opened its doors in Uganda in 2009, offering wholesale, retail, investment, and transaction banking services and products to governments, financial institutions, multinational corporations, international organizations, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals.
