After King Saha ignored Saturday’s public debate, Cindy Sanyu took a shot at her major opponent in the Uganda Musicians Association campaign, King Saha. (Cindy Sanyu to King Saha – Now you know UMA isn’t a joke)
A televised presidential discussion between Uganda Musicians Association candidates was place on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Cindy Sanyu, Lord Bitem, and King Saha, the three contenders vying for the top spot, were set to appear for a heated debate in which they would address fans’ queries about their manifestos.
King Saha, the CEO of Kings Love Entertainment, who has been outspoken during the campaign, was absent from the debate.

Despite King Saha’s absence, the argument continued as Lord Bitem and Cindy explained their intentions and why they should be chosen by fellow entertainers.
Saha then said that he was unable to attend the debate since he was scheduled to perform at a dinner in Jina.
His explanation, on the other hand, did not satisfy his opponents, who labeled him a “coward” and a “joker.”
Cindy stated on social media that the debate went well despite Saha’s absence. She also hoped Saha realized the association wasn’t a jest, as he may have assumed.
Despite the absence of one of my opponents, the debate went quite well (and I became a Twitter trend). I hope you’ve realized that UMA is no laughing matter. We, the artists, are banding together and organizing ourselves. We can get where we want to go if we work hard enough.
The UMA elections were postponed from Monday, May 23, 2022, due to a lack of understanding of the voting process, according to the association.(Cindy Sanyu to King Saha – Now you know UMA isn’t a joke -celebrity jazz ug
