The National Unity Platform’s leadership has retaliated against its Rubaga-based parallel faction, threatening legal action.
This comes after the founder of the National Unity Reconciliation and Development Party-NURP announced that he would take over as party president following a delegates’ conference on May 27, 2022.
Kibalama accused NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi alais Bobi Wine of poor leadership skills, misappropriation of party funds, and breach of the Memorandum of Understanding-MOU they had on Wednesday.

The Electoral Commission spokesperson, Paul Bukenya, says the commission has not issued any new certificates confirming the change of leadership in the NUP.
