Following a scuffle in Ntinda between singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool and Afande Captain Namara, in which the former claimed that the latter almost “shot him,” the two have finally reconciled. (Bebe Cool and Captain Namara reach an agreement – and the case is dropped)
Bebe Cool explained on social media that he met Mr. Namara at the hospital where he was bedridden, and they discussed the saga before deciding to forgive each other for whatever went wrong.
The “Wire Wire” singer claimed that he made peace with Mr. Namara during the previous Ramadhan period because he prayed and fasted.
Bebe claimed that during the five days of fasting, his mind was transformed into forgiving all those who had wronged him.
He explained that the recent incident reminded him of why he fasted, prompting him to resolve his misunderstanding with Mr. Namara amicably.
As a result, he requested that his lawyers withdraw the case they had filed against Capt. Namara.
IN THE UBUNTU SPIRIT…
I’d like to inform the general public that I met with Mr. Namara this morning and we discussed the incident that occurred last Saturday in a parking lot.
Throughout my 27-year active music career, I’ve learned that when you are wronged, it’s always good to think about forgiveness right away, especially if the other party who wronged you is willing to forgive you, and vice versa, because one day you will seek forgiveness when you wrong someone.
I fasted for only 5 days during Ramadan last year, and the rest of the fasting period was spent performing my fidyah and Kaffara, but one thing that came to mind during those five days was to forgive everyone who had wronged me.
In that regard, I contacted my KSMO lawyer, Mr Sempala, and asked him to withdraw all of my cases from various courts of law.
It’s the UBUNTU spirit.
Whatever happened in the parking lot was an accident, and we both accept responsibility for our reactions, which led to an uncalled-for outburst.
Unfortunately, both of our jobs require us to be outside at night, when a lot happens.
We met and got to know each other, and Allah has kept us both alive. I’m always open to reconciliation because it’s such an important part of achieving peace.
We sincerely apologize for any panic or inconvenience caused to the public.
Thank you, and best wishes. (Bebe Cool and Captain Namara reach an agreement – and the case is dropped – celebrity jazz ug)
