Saturday’s Tusker Lite National Basketball League results (Victoria University continues to keep the Falcons winless in the Basketball League)

The Falcons remain winless in the Tusker Lite National Basketball League (NBL) regular season after a 63-62 loss to Victoria University on Saturday at the YMCA basketball court in Wandegeya, Kampala.
The Falcons have yet to win a game in 16 games and are the only winless team in all top tier divisions (men and women). They are at the bottom of the 13-team table, tied for the fewest points (16) with Duje Angels, who have played three games fewer.
Victoria University, on the other hand, has increased their chances of survival by winning two games in a row for the first time this season. With 21 points, they are now ninth in the table.
“Sharp shooter” Ronald Ayume was the standout player for Victoria University as the team improved its chances of survival. He finished with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists to earn Tusker Lite player of the game honors.
Maker Mayen had 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 assists for Victoria University, and Nyong Marrier had 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Keneth Mesho led the Falcons to a disappointing finish in a losing effort with 19 points, 20 rebounds, and 2 assists. Henrison Mbaziira had 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist, while Mark Ngobi had 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
