Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga said in a statement that the search for known socialite Sipapa is ongoing due to theft charges.
A South Sudanese national by the name of Jacob Arok accused Sipapa of planning a robbery that took place at his Bunga house on the evening of August 28, 2022, prompting the need for his arrest.
A bunch of robbers allegedly used suspected chloroform on the victims’ sleeping residents before breaking into their home to steal $429,000 in cash and other valuables.

Four suspects, including Sipapa’s wife Shamirah Nakiyimba, have reportedly already been detained by police, but Sipapa, who was not discovered at the residence, is still at large.
