Azawi appears to have no choice but to move forward. No Ugandan artiste has achieved greater musical success since his debut.
The soft-spoken singer was a revelation, and she continues to surprise her growing fan base with new material.
Azawi recently released the video for her song Bamututte (directed by Benon Mugumbya), which has received positive feedback.
Azawi released the Deluxe version of her ‘African Music‘ album on Friday.
Azawi brought her plans to release the album after her concert on July 22nd closer together and decided to drop it over the weekend.
Other top African acts featured on the African Music deluxe edition include Kenya’s Bensoul and Nigeria’s Chike and Dj Neptune.
Chike expresses his artistry on the Craving You Heavy remix, while DJ Neptune appears on Feeling.
Envision and Looking Forward, on which Azawi collaborates with Bensoul of the Soul Generation [Sauti Sol], are also included on the deluxe edition.
The album, which has already sparked heated debate, is now available on various music streaming platforms.
Azawi’s busy July continues as she prepares for her first concert, titled “African Music Concert.”
The concert is scheduled for July 22nd, 2022 at Lugogo Grounds, and music fans are eager to see if the singer is worth the hype.
After beginning her professional career three years ago, all eyes will be on her to see if she can be the artist in whom Ugandans can place their hopes for a future global star. (Azawi’s deluxe album ‘African Music’ is out ahead of his concert – Uganda music downloads)
