Born in November 1989, Sheebah Karungi is a recording artist who started out as a singer for a trio singing group dubbed ‘Obsessions.’ in 2006.
In 2014, she tasted fame when her first single ‘ice cream’ which did well commercially and established her as one of the most promising young talents in the music industry.
Born and raised by a single mother in Kawempe, Sheebah dropped out of school while in S.2 at Midland High School, Kawempe. This was after completing her basic education at Kawempe Muslim Primary School.
She ventured into commercial dancing aged only 15 and joined a dance group called ‘Stingers.’ She later left the group to join Obsessions where she developed an interest in singing before going solo.
The self-proclaimed Queen Karma has released several commercially successful singles such as Ice cream, Nkwatako, Karma, Twesana, and more recently, Mukama Yamba.
Love Life.
It has been for years rumored that Sheebah is into women as opposed to men, having been in very close knits with singers Keko and Nina Roz.
However, Sheebah has never openly come out to clear the rumors. Despite being in her thirties, she has no child nor any known fiance.
She is now one of the most successful musicians in Uganda, owning a boat (Queen Karma), Holic Pads, a pad-making company, and several building estates in Kampala.
