King Saha, a musician, intends to take the oath of office as president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).
He asserts that he has objectives to pursue and cannot wait for the Uganda National Cultural Forum (UNCC), the “policy board,” and the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development to determine the voting date.
The elections were postponed last month until further notice after some members raised concerns about how association members from distant regions would cast their votes if they weren’t provided transportation to Kampala.
However, King Saha, the initiative’s driving force, claims he is sick of waiting.
