House of Prayer Ministries lead pastor, Aloysius Bugingo has sounded a warning to the youth concerning first son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s presidential ambitions.
The controversial pastor pointed out that Muhoozi succession over his father, Museveni is imminent. The youth should therefore not question Muhooozi’s ambitions unless they want to be beaten.
He explained that it does not need prophesy to see that Muhoozi will soon take over from his father in 2026 saying it is as clear as daylight.
“If you want to be caned, start questioning people for supporting their preferred candidates.(…) I am a pastor but this doesn’t need much prophesy. According to the ongoing precedent, Muhoozi is coming for presidency anytime from now and if he comes, mind your business.” he said.
He however encouraged the youth to support a candidate of their choice but desist from questioning the ones they do not agree with.
He made the remarks while presiding over the recent Sunday service at his church, House of Prayer Ministries.
It is worth noting that despite speculations that Muhoozi will succeed his father, President Museveni dismissed the claims saying Ugandans have a right to choose a leader of their choice.
