Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, better known by his stage as Oxlade, a Nigerian singer and songwriter signed to Troniq Music, has revealed why he skipped a gig in Uganda. Oxlade apologizes for his disappointing performance in Uganda.

The “hold on” hitmaker criticized Top Boy Entertainment Records on Twitter for their terrible event management.

Oxlade charges Michael of Top Boy Entertainment for failing to uphold their agreement and fulfill his share in clearing the cash.

Oxlade continues by saying that Top Boy Entertainment should apologise and explain to all Ugandans why he chose not to appear on stage for his supporters.

He added that Michael went ahead and cancelled his return flight to Nigeria but did not go into detail about why he did not perform.

However, he pledged to visit Uganda again soon to perform for his supporters in full

Who is Oxlade?

Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman was born in Surulere, in Lagos, on April 22 in the year 1997.

He was nurtured by his father and grandmother after the early death of his mother at a tender age

He received admission to study history and international relations at Lagos State University, where his father was a lecturer. He first enrolled for two years, then left to pursue his musical career.

His song “Interest,” which he co-wrote with Dolapo and Ms. Banks in January 2021, gave him his debut entry on the Capital XTRA Airplay Chart at position eleven.

His Away music video, which was made by TG Omori for Troniq Music, was made public on April 13, 2020.

With the song “Ojuju,” he received his second entry on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart in October 2021.
