Ajambo, 46, gave birth to four children at Mbale Hospital two months ago, but instead of experiencing the joy that comes with a four-time miracle, she now has to begin a search for the children’s father, as the man responsible has since vanished.

Ajambo told the media that she is grateful that God answered her prayers and gave her four children when she only asked for one, but that she now needs to support the children.

“These four children are the only thing I have in my life.” When I asked God for a child, he responded with four children at once. Now I’m stuck, but only God knows why. According to Ajambo, her husband vanished after seeing the quadruplets emerge from the hospital, claiming it was a bad omen and has never been seen since.

She claims that various efforts have been made to locate him, albeit without success, while other sources claim he was seen in Kenya.

Mary Kyomugasho, a resident of Kasaana Central village in Rushenyi County in Ntungamo District, was left stunned and alone in January this year after her husband Asiimwe Elkangiro vanished from the hospital after learning she had given birth to four girls at once.

Asiimwe, a polygamous man, had already sired one child with Kyomugasho, but he was unable to bear four children at the same time, so he vanished, never to be seen again.

Agnes Kyarikunda, 26, of Gayaza’s Kikoko village, was dumped by her husband after giving birth to quadruplets in April 2020.
