The Nile Special-sponsored Rugby Africa Mens 7s will be a “fun-filled carnival” of sorts this weekend at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, with Winnie Nwagi, Lydia Jazmine, Zex Bilangilangi, Karole Kasita, and others set to perform.
The Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens will be held in the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala on Saturday, April 23rd, and Sunday, April 24th.
The event, which is proudly sponsored by Uganda’s number one rugby fan, Nile Special, will feature fourteen of Africa’s best rugby-playing nations.
Uganda, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Kenya, Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal, Mauritius, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Madagascar, and Cameroon are among the 14 competing teams.
At the Rugby Africa Men’s 7s, there will be a lot to play for, as the competition also serves as a qualifier for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town, South Africa.
Uganda’s opening match (versus Burundi) will take place at 8:22 a.m. on Saturday. But there will be party after party before that.
The “Show Up for Practice” party begins at 6 p.m. on Friday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Lydia Jazmine is set to play alongside Silverback and Bexx, two deejays.
Winnie Nwagi Karole Kasita, Zex Bilangilangi, and Eddy Wizzy will perform alongside Sesse, DVJ Mercy Pro, Shock & Essau on Saturday.
Sheebah, A Pass, Levixone, An-known, DJ Naselow, DJ Kasbaby, Silverback, and Tony Wallace will perform on the last day of the Sevens on Sunday, bringing the festivities to a close.
Nile Special has set up interesting offers on beers and other items to provide all the joy that can be supplied to fun seekers.
