The King of Dancehall has finally visited Uganda after 13 years. Beenie Man will perform this November in Kampala – Uganda
Beenie Man arrived at Entebbe International Airport on November 9, 2022, at 4:00 am.
The Jamaican performer will perform live on November 11 at Lugogo Cricket Oval alongside Oxlade from Nigeria, Focalistic from South Africa, Mellow and Sleeazy from the United States, Vinka, Azawi, and Winnie Nwagi from Uganda.
When Beenie last visited Kampala, he gave a performance at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Cindy joined him on stage to play his hit song “Dude” in place of Ms. Thing, while Jackie of Blu3 performed Better Than Dem in place of the late Natasja.
By the age of eight, dancehall king Beenie Man had created his first hit.
From that point on, he went on to establish himself as one of the most well-known names in reggae on a global scale for many years.

He had numerous hits during the 1990s with different producers, and he produced music at an almost continuous rate with albums like 1995’s hard-edged Blessed, which balanced a rough-and-tumble gangster delivery with lover’s rock moments and humorous undercurrents.
Beenie Man continued to compose songs about sex, partying, and his status as the king of dancehall long into the 2010s and beyond as his enthusiasm for making music grew as the years passed.
He has released new singles throughout the 2020s, including as the 2022 hook-up hymn “Want Some,” as well as Unstoppable (2016) and new albums.

Beenie was at his most diversified on the 2000 album Art & Life.
In 2002 Tropical Storm album welcomed guests like Wyclef Jean and Arturo Sandoval of the Fugees, Janet Jackson, the Neptunes, Lady Saw, and Lil’ Kim.
