Big Eye Starboss was observed fighting a DJ on stage at the Eddy Kenzo Festival at Kololo Airstrip on Saturday. Big Eye explains why he interrupted Kenzo’s show and offers an apology
Midway through the singer’s performance, the DJ refused to play his most recent song, Husband Material, and a fight broke out.
The deejay ignored Big Eye’s repeated requests for his song to be played and instead changed to King Michael’s song Muko Muko.
Big Eye, real name Ibrahim Mayanja, became enraged by this and violently fought the deejay until the bouncers separated them.
The crowd, who had come to enjoy the act, was overhead accusing Big Eye of trying to take Eddy Kenzo’s spotlight at his own performance.
But shortly after, Big Eye refuted the aforementioned charges in a press conference.
He admitted that he was furious because the deejay’s refusal to play the new song, in which he had invested a lot of time and money, had enraged him.

“I came here to sing and still have fun. How could he refuse to play my favorite song, which is also my most recent song? You have no idea how much effort I put into creating that music,” he remarked.
He immediately expressed regret for creating a scene on stage and said it was never his goal to spoil such a wonderful event.
