Clever J, a singer, is fed up with his brothers Jose Chameleone and Pallaso constantly taking him on stage and failing to pay him for his efforts. (Clever J is dissatisfied with Pallaso and Jose Chameleone for failing to pay for his services)
After playing at six performances and going home without being paid, the “Manzi Wanani” singer told up about his displeasure.
Clever J went public and issued a message to his cousin brothers informing them that he requires payment for the services he provides at their concerts.
The faded singer was clearly heard claiming that he did not want to be seen begging for food, despite the fact that people see him singing at other gigs outside of Kampala.
He continued by stating that using and exploiting someone without fairly compensating them is a bad habit.
The problem I’ve had with Chameleone and Pallaso is that ever since we started working together, it’s as if they’ve declared war on me by scheduling me for free events with no mention of payment. That is the most difficult problem I face with them.
What I mean is that our friendship should not be used to inflict harm to one another.
My brothers have advertised for me to perform at several performances, but I’m tired of their acts of trying to use me for free.
In the future, if someone advertises me and I don’t show up, simply know that I wasn’t compensated. I don’t want to be seen begging others for food later.
