Dev Kat, a Ugandan singer and composer based in the United States, is looking forward to making his impact on the Ugandan music scene. (Dev Kat – a musician from the United States – wants to break into Ugandan showbiz )

After working as an Engineer in the +256 for a while, David Kateregga, an orphan from Uganda, relocated to the United States.

He works four days a week for 40 hours as a Computer Engineer in the United States, then spends the rest of his time in the studio making music.

Dev Kat currently does music as a side hustle and occasionally as a pastime, but he hopes to make it his full-time job in the future.

He presently has a song called Senorita that many of his followers have appreciated on various music streaming apps, and it is doing well on YouTube.

Dev Kat is a father of two children, and one of his ambitions is to collaborate on musical projects with prominent singers like as Sheebah Karungi and Jose Chameleone, among others.

Another goal he has set for himself is to put on a giant show in one of Uganda’s largest musical venues.

Dev Kat is overwhelmed by the encouragement he receives at home and in the United States, where various people have expressed interest in his work.
