Weasel Manizo, real name Douglas Mayanja, a survivor of the Goodlyfe, had his 37th birthday on June 13th, 2022.
However, a day before one of the singer’s birthday festivities at Casablanca Bar, he allegedly assaulted a local deejay.
DJ Rectango, a former Goodlyfe Crew member and Weasel’s former coworker, accused the rough-voiced vocalist of abusing him.
Weasel and his buddies, including fellow vocalists King Saha and Chagga, banged DJ Rectango in Kololo’s Casablanca Bar and Lounge, according to DJ Rectango.
The battered DJ stated that he had been assaulted so hard that he blacked out before being transported to a local hospital for treatment.
On the 12th of June 2022, the deejay filed a complaint SD Ref: 10/12/6/22 against the trio at Kira Road Police Station, requesting that they face charges of assault.
He believes he was attacked because he refused to release some of the late Mowzey Radio’s music and revealed secrets to the public.
During an interview with BBS Terefayina, Chagga, on the other hand, denied hitting DJ Rectango and stated that he has no malice towards him.
