Christabel K. Musiime, who was previously a co-host, is now the principal host of Uganda’s most popular real estate show, which airs on NTV Sunday nights.
“Starting and pioneering the concept of a real estate show (The Property Show) has been by far one of the most spectacular television experiences I’ve had in my 21 years of broadcasting,” Musiime adds.
Musiime secured a content distribution arrangement with Africa Broadcasting Services, which ran NTV in Uganda while Aggie Konde was the station’s Managing Director, and the show premiered in 2012.
“I applaud Mrs. Konde, who believed in my ambition at the time and offered my team the opportunity to produce the property show, which has been an important and integral part of the country’s real estate development for the previous 10 years,” Musiime says.
The show has been undergoing a re-brand for the past six months, and the new show has been reloaded and relaunched, and it will premiere on July 3, 2022, but for now, Christabel will serve as the principal host and producer while the changeover takes place.
“There have been times when someone has approached me and said, Edwin, I literally built my home by watching your show. Edwin, you changed my perspective on having functional and beautiful spaces. Our Ugandan and international fans are a wonderful family, and together, we will continue to offer high-quality material that exposes everyone to good housing and real estate,” Musiime said.
Roofings and Nina Interiors, according to Musiime, were early supporters of the event because they believed in its principles. The event was probably labeled as Uganda’s highest net worth show during its peak years of 2013-2017.
The show’s creator now claims that over the next ten years, the show will focus on sustainability. More human-interest tales affecting homeowners, developers, and those looking to buy a home will be covered.
