Fik a.k.a. Fresh Bwoy (born 10 January 1996) is a Ugandan rapper who goes by the stage name Walukagga Shafik. “Pistol,” his debut single, was released in 2015 on the Black Man Town record label, which is run by Ugandan music legend Geosteady. Later songs like “Salawo” and “Mbega Wa Bbaala” helped him land a recording deal with Kama Ivien Management. “Batuwulira,” his club success, was followed by “Byenyenya.”
As a result of the song, he became the most booked Ugandan musician of 2017. After collecting honors in Uganda and East Africa, Fik Fameica has crowned Uganda’s most popular musician in 2017. For his song “Kutama,” he was named Breakthrough Artist, Best in Hip-Hop, and Best Rap Song at the 2018 HiPipo Awards.
“Mafia,” “Property,” “Sconto,” and “Tonsukuma” were among his club smashes. In 2019, he collaborated on the popular song “Omu Bwati” with Nigerian artist Patoranking.
