Pastor Martin Ssempa is upset about a video of Prophet Denis Kintu spanking his ushers after they stole his “miraculous stick” that went viral.
When he was seen flogging his ushers for being irresponsible, Prophet Denis Kintu made headlines.
During a church service, he accused them of not knowing where his “miraculous stick” was.
Kintu was seen in the video calling out the ushers one by one and spanking them for being irresponsible.
Prophet Kintu was subsequently detained and accused of 18 counts of assault, trafficking in persons, and fomenting sectarianism.
Prophet Denis Kintu said that it was merely a stage act performed to get people to his church when questioned about why he did such a thing.
Due to this, Pastor Martin Ssempa was compelled to publicly denounce the way some people are ruining the reputation of Born Again Christians and genuine pastors who are not in the ministry to perform bogus miracles.
He asked that the law be used to limit those who are attempting to tarnish and harm the reputation of pastors by reducing the number of bogus prophets who sprout up like mushrooms on a regular basis.
We Born Again believers are tired of those who make claims to be prophets but ultimately dishonor and defame genuine pastors.
Recently, there have been a lot of prophets, and we are dismayed by the way that this has affected our industry.
Who then gave the order for Prophet Denis to beat his ushers for stealing his miraculous stick? He appears to have been born into Mama Fiina’s family.
This action deeply offends and pains us. First off, there is no biblical teaching that authorizes a church leader to spank members of his congregation or ushers.
