With only a few days until Ramadan ends, musician Hassan Kigozi a.k.a. Geosteady has explained how his pilgrimage to Mecca affected him personally, socially, financially, and politically.
Geosteady went to Mecca for umrah in December 2021 after deciding to convert from Christianity to Islam.
In many ways, he says, the pilgrimage to the holiest shrine in the Muslim faith transformed his view on life.
Geosteady announced on social media on Sunday that since visiting Mecca, he has changed emotionally, monetarily, politically, and socially.
He continued to pray for his Muslim brothers and sisters to have a pleasant Ramadan.
My entire life has transformed intellectually, socially, financially, and politically since I returned from Mecca. Alhamudullah, Allah abanywezze basilamu.
