Pastor Wilson Bugembe has admitted that a few things did not go as planned during his recent concert and thus begs forgiveness. ( I admit that some things did not go as planned – Pastor Wilson Bugembe at a recent concert )
Pastor Bugembe’s “Katonda W’abanaku Mw’eno Ensonga” concert took place on June 3, 2022, which also happened to be Uganda Martyrs Day.
At the concert, believers and other pleasure-seekers put their differences aside to enjoy performances by Uganda’s best artists.
Public figures in attendance included Mama Fiina, a renowned traditional healer who also gave money to Pastor Bugembe to congratulate him on organizing such a beautiful concert.
The Worship House Church Nansana lead pastor knelt while receiving the money, which has been criticized by fellow pastor Aloysious Bugingo.
Bugingo chastised Pr Bugembe for prostrating himself in front of a traditional healer and inviting non-believers to a “booze fest.”
In an interview, Pastor Wilson Bugembe acknowledged that some things did not go as planned and apologized.
The Kani singer revealed that he texted Pastor Bugingo to apologize for a few gaffes at the event.
He also maintained that Bugingo could have expressed his displeasure in a more constructive manner than publicly attacking him.
He also stated that he has no personal beef with Bugingo before promising to correct the errors in future performances.
I left him a voice message. I admit that some things did not go as planned or were detrimental to the image of Christianity.
But I believe Bugingo would have called me instead of yelling at me in public.
I have no ill will toward him. Some of what he said was correct. The issue is that he exaggerated. ( I admit that some things did not go as planned – Pastor Wilson Bugembe at a recent concert – celebrity jazz ug )
