Capita FM Uganda teamed with Club Pilsener – a company that has supported Ugandan music for many years – to honor the biggest and greatest Ugandan English radio station that has been at the top of the radio market for over 30 years.
Before meeting Rukirabasaija Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV on Saturday morning, the Capital FM crew arrived in Fort Portal to prepare for the broadcast.
The activations leading up to the concert had already suggested that the city’s revelers were looking forward to the show.
The stage was set for Buhinga Stadium, where fans flocked in droves beginning at midday to catch a sight of their idols.
Capital FM presenters worked the masses first, before comedians, emcees, and deejays raised the energy level.
Musicians such as Bebe Cool, Sheebah Karungi, B2C Entertainment, Fik Fameica, and many others performed throughout the night and into the early hours of Sunday morning.
