Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, the reigning monarch of Buganda Kingdom, has urged all of his Muslim subjects to pray to God, pleading with him to protect cultural artifacts and land from wealthy squatters.
The Kabaka mentioned in his Eid al-Fitr speech that Buganda was facing challenges in its efforts to defend its land and properties.
“Keep praying to God to save us from robbers intent on stealing our properties and land, and ask God to help us get through this difficult time.” The Kabaka stated.
