While celebrating his 48th birthday, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba hinted at asking the government to engage in the entertainment and sports industries.
Lt. Gen. Muhoozi made the statement while discussing some of the ideas he has for reducing the country’s high young unemployment rate.
As he emphasized his comments, he stated that the government merely needs to repair the majority of sports facilities throughout the country in all sports disciplines because adolescents have a lot of energy that cannot be wasted.
Aside from implying that he will invest in sports, he also stated how he will promote investment in music, movies, and all other arts-related disciplines.
He saw it as a minor matter that the administration could easily resolve.
In this country, we need to invest in sports facilities because the youth have too much energy, and if they are left inactive, their energies would go to waste and become a problem. So, let’s put money into them and renovate our stadiums. We need to grow and provide what the youth want.
Let’s also invest in the music, cinema, and artistic industries as a whole. We will go a long way toward resolving unemployment since it is a relatively straightforward problem to address. “Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba”
