She became interested in music and dance after joining the Stingers, a karaoke group.
She performed with the group at several clubs and hangouts before joining the Obsessions, which was led and managed by Ronnie Mulindwa.
Mr. Kibirige, the leader of the Stingers, had noticed her talent and wanted her to become a solo performer before abandoning them.

However, because of her love and enthusiasm for dance, she chose to continue dancing in order to be a part of the Obsessions group.
As the trio began to disband, she remembered that she wanted to make music, and just like any other artist, starting out as a solo musician was difficult.
Sheebah, on the other hand, is extremely appreciative and credits Mr. Kibirige, Lwanga, Jeff Kiwa, Ronnie Mulindwa, and a few other individuals

She also credits one of her longstanding friends, Jackie, who used to assist her pay her rent, water, and power bills when she ran out of money, as well as Moses from Buddies, who used to pay her money on Tuesday nights.
One of the most difficult problems she recalls was going without a place to sleep for over eight months.
She would sleep in churches, clubs, on the streets, and even in the Kawempe Muslim School security officers’ little residence, where she would go hungry.
She goes on to say that the day she finished her Muyonyo house was the happiest day of her life.
