Samson Kasumba revealed on his social media sites in April that he will be quitting NBS television to pursue higher studies in another country.
On Monday, he formally resigned from his position.
Kin Kariisa, the CEO of NBS television, tweeted images of himself talking with Samson Kasumba and Joel Khamadi on Twitter, noting that transition can be difficult but necessary.

Khamadi is another well-known TV personality who rose to prominence at Serena-based NTV before moving to Naguru-based Next Media. MC Kats, Douglas Lwanga, and Slolomon Sserwanja are among the others.
