Eddie Dee, the hit producer of “Malamu,” was seen in interviews with tears streaming down his cheeks, pleading for help from fellow producers and artists to overcome his problems.
Eddie Dee is choking on a Shs4m debt that he failed to pay for a full year, according to his landlord.
When contacted about Eddie Dee’s situation, Rinex, the president of the producer’s association, blamed fellow producers for being “lazy, disorganized, and careless.”
Producer Rinex went on to say that producers should not use artists as a scapegoat for failing to pay their rent.
He questioned why an established producer would work on the basis of goodwill and credit for any artist.
