In a video they posted, the pair can be seen standing close to one another with Rotimi holding a black umbrella just before he opens it, letting pink rose petals fall over them to reveal the gender of their second child is a girl.
After posting a photo of their hands together with that of their then-newborn child on social media, Rotimi and Mdee announced the birth of their first child, Seven, in September of last year.
Weeks before Seven was born, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, adding, “We are incredibly happy to welcome our boy. Everything about this journey has been new for us as first-time parents. We are fans.
The Tanzanian songbird made a hint about having a second child just a few months after Seven was born.

Rotimi stated on The Pivot Podcast that he chose an African woman because they are obedient to their spouses.
He also mentioned how precisely African ladies know how to treat a man.
When you have an African woman, Rotimi explained, “you have a lady that is cautious about our concept of how to treat a man and how to be submissive.”
The actor also praised Mdee, saying that in addition to being stunning, she also knows when to be harsh.
“It’s just a balance that is difficult to find, and I don’t say you don’t have it in American women,” said Rotimi. “But a lot of African women are designed to be queens in their thoughts, as well as fantastic wives.”
