Sheebah Karungi has denied claims that she was raped on social media. (Sheebah on her sexual assault “It wasn’t rape it was horrible touches”)
Sheebah took to social media last week to explain how she had been sexually abused by an unnamed renowned someone who had engaged her to perform at his private party at his home.
Sheebah’s reports sparked a flurry of responses from people of all social classes, with some even bringing up the word “rape” in the mix.
The multi-award-winning female artist, however, denied being raped during a news conference on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Sheebah, on the other hand, claimed to have been inappropriately touched by a man whose name she has yet to reveal.
The singer of “Nkwata Bulungi” claims, however, that she told the Police CID her true name.
“I was not raped, but it is those inappropriate touches that lead to rape.” Sheebah Karungi added, “Also, the names of people you’ve all been circulating on social media aren’t the ones; I reported the appropriate person to CID.”
Sheebah also confirmed that she recorded a statement with the support of Uganda Police Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) Director Tom Magambo. (Sheebah on her sexual assault “It wasn’t rape it was horrible touches” – celebrity jazz ug)
