Angel Kabera Amahoro is a Ugandan poet and singer who belongs to the Mufumbira tribe and is the first of her family’s four daughters.
Kabera is a devout Christian who believes in God and the power of music. She simply asserts that art is the only thing that survives our deaths.
“I believe in the spirit of music and poetry, as well as God.” “The basic understanding that art will survive, but we will not,” she told, is what keeps her going.
The road to poetry
Kabera’s story begins in 2016, when her Literature instructor persuaded her to join a group of friends who performed at the inaugural ‘The Teen Poetry Slam.’
She has always loved music and combined it with her newfound love of poetry to create “Soetry,” which she has mastered through the years.
“I began writing poetry in 2016.” “At the time, my Literature instructor forced my classmates and me to participate in the first edition of The Teen Poetry Slam,” she recalls.
“I’ve always been a singer,” Kabera says, “but I only recently integrated the two disciplines to come up with ‘Soetry.'”
“Njabala,” the song says.
Kabera’s newest project, “Njabala,” which was released on May 30, 2022, has already won the hearts of many music fans.
“Njabala” is a fictional character whose narrative has been repeated many times throughout history. Njabala is neither lazy nor wild; she has simply been neglected and left to her own devices.
Kabera addresses Njabala in this mix of spoken word poetry and music. She must understand that she was created for much more.
It’s “a critical interpretation on a Buganda fable about the indolent girl, Njabala, dealing with issues of parental neglect,” she says.
Kabera’s new song also serves as an inspiration to young women, encouraging them to be more than just wives in society.
It is a song of hope as well as motivation for young women. The Njabala mythology looks at the domesticated lady, and the soem breaks the shell, allowing the modern-day Njabala to be a wife and more.

Soetry’s new EP will be out soon.
Kabera will release her first body of work, an EP of Soetry, soon before releasing her Anthology.
“I aim to release a Soetry EP on Spotify and publish my anthology,” she told us. Everything is already in the works. “Njabala” is merely a sneak peek.” (UNVEILING: In ‘Njabala’ Angel Kabera soars through Soetry – latest celebrity gossip)
