For the many years we thought Leila Kayondo and SK Mbuga were dating, they were just “having fun” and nothing serious.
At least, according to Leila Kayondo, it was just a time in her life when she was having fun with another man she knew.
From around 2012, Leila Kayondo and city tycoon SK Mbuga were together for about three years. On the surface, their bond appeared to be quite strong.
SK Mbuga not only lavished Kayondo with expensive gifts such as posh cars and organized parties for her, but he also invested heavily in her music career. There were even rumors that the two were planning a future together, beginning with marriage, having children, and growing up together.
Unfortunately, none of the above occurred. The couple divorced amicably in 2015, with the singer alleging mistreatment.
Despite the fact that the tycoon has moved on and married Vivienne Chebet, Leila Kayondo recently revealed that he has been contacting her and even visiting her home.
Kayondo continued to sting Mbuga in a recent interview with NBS TV’s Kayz by revealing that she has never dated him.
She claimed that all they did together was have fun and nothing serious.
Mbuga, she added, did not only invest in her career but was also hardworking and contributing to her well-being.
