Big Talent Entertainment vocalist Edrisah Musuuza, aka Eddy Kenzo, has announced the return of the Eddy Kenzo Festival. (It’s all back on! The Eddy Kenzo Festival Will Return)
Events were outlawed in early March 2020, just as the music industry was preparing for the Eddy Kenzo Festival, which was scheduled for the 28th of March 2020 at Kololo Airstrip, when President Museveni declared the country in lockdown.

Due to the country’s Coronavirus outbreak, public meetings, concerts, and other events were canceled to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Kenzo and his team were given a major setback when the festival’s buzz and anticipation failed to bear fruit.
It took over two years for Uganda to reopen concerts and bars in early January 2022, and the Eddy Kenzo Festival is officially back on.
The Weekend singer stated on Sunday evening via social media that the festival will begin with a string of events across the country before the major concert in Kampala.
Hello everyone, get ready for the ROAD TO EDDY KENZO FESTIVAL. It will be a national festival.
It will begin in various parts of Uganda and end in the center, where the main event will take place.
The main event date will be revealed shortly. #EddyKenzoFestival
