Lord Elektra, a well-known TikToker, couldn’t contain her joy after being named Best Female TikToker of the Year at the recently completed Famous Teens Awards (Lord Elektra was overjoyed to be named Best Female TikToker of 2022).
TikTok’s rise in the +256 has been enormous for a social media app that just got popular in Uganda after the outbreak of Covid-19.
Today, it is difficult to find a young person who does not have TikTok installed on their phone – and the numbers are only increasing.
The app already has kings and queens, and Lord Elektra is just one of them.
Lord Elektra, real name Kyomuhangi Betinah, joined TikTok during the Coronavirus lockdown in 2020.
She now has 6.3 million likes and 440k followers on the app. She has also signed various endorsement contracts with well-known brands.
She was named the Best Female TikToker of the Year in Uganda at the Famous Teens Awards last week.
