The UNHCR is a UN refugee organization based in Uganda, and it is there that the former ‘NTV Akawungeezi’ news anchor will work as a public relations officer. Over the weekend, Walusimbi announced on social media that he had accepted a new position as an Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
“I am writing to inform you that I have accepted a new position as Associate Communications Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR – the UN refugee agency in Uganda.”

Frank Walusimbi resigned from his position at Serena-based NTV Uganda a fortnight ago, and although giving an emotional farewell to his fans and coworkers, the later left people wondering about his next move in life.
