Frank Walusimbi, the celebrated Luganda news anchor, has announced his new juicy position as the Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR, shortly after leaving NTV Uganda. The UNHCR is a UN refugee organization based in Uganda, and it is there that the former ‘NTV Akawungeezi’ news anchor will work as a public relations officer. Over the weekend, Walusimbi announced on social media that he had accepted a new position as an Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
“I am writing to inform you that I have accepted a new position as Associate Communications Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR – the UN refugee agency in Uganda.”

Frank Walusimbi resigned from his position at Serena-based NTV Uganda a fortnight ago, and although giving an emotional farewell to his fans and coworkers, the later left people wondering about his next move in life.
