Sheebah Karungi brags about how she left her critics far behind in her new song Nabaleka, before flashing her trophies to validate her celebrity status! (Sheebah Karungi responds to criticism in a new video for Nabaleka)
In the first lyric, Sheebah sings in Luganda, “Big up to all of you who chatter about us, your gossip makes us famous.”
Nabaleka returns barely a few months after leaving Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep team for unknown reasons.
It also comes a week after she claimed she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed famous person before a private party performance.
“I Left Them” is a Luganda term that means “I Left Them.” “Nabaleka emabega, nafuna gwe nembaleka emabega,” says the self-styled Swagg Mama in the chorus.
In many ways, the song, which was created by Nessim Pan Production, is a direct shot at her detractors and critics.
Sheebah dresses up as a female gangster with a bad attitude to show off her “Bad Gyal” side. The costumes completely complement the image.
The new pictures, which were shot on her own boat, the Queen Karma Cruise, are a breath of fresh air and showcase the boss that she is.
It also demonstrates that no matter what Sheebah has been through in life, she has a devoted following who will support her through the darkest moments.
At the end of the film, she also displays the numerous accolades she has received throughout the years, demonstrating her status as a winner.
The only criticism this song, like numerous of her other songs, may face is a lack of lyrical maturity. It will, without a doubt, make you dance and feel a certain manner.
