Ratigan Era began singing at a young age at church and in school. Artists such as Enya and Angelique Kidjo impacted him as he grew up.
Later, he moved into Jamaican dancehall, idolizing DJs like Vybz Kartel and Busy Signal.
He skipped football training sessions in 2016 in favor of going to the studio, where he recorded “Drop it” from the Moskato Riddim. He never went back to training, but he did spend some time voicing many tunes.
Ratigan has been working with celebrity DJs such as Uganda’s Bexxx-A-DJ and Kid Ink since 2017.
