Former Uganda Cranes players included Captain George Ssemogerere, Abdullah Mubiru, Dan Wagaluka, Vincent Kayizzi, Iddi Batambuze, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Abubaker Tabula, and Jimmy Kidega.
Away from the games, Lilian and her Sundowners Band recalled Blu*3 when her groupmate Jackie Chandiru made an unexpected visit.
The evening’s emcee was Old Boy Roger Mugisha, and DJs Crystal and Aie performed tunes that reminded the old boys of the ultimate 1990s party.
Meanwhile, on match day, the Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) held a Heart Camp with basic heart exams (checking for blood pressure, blood sugars, and BMI), as well as cardiac consultations and nutrition instruction.
“In commemoration of our colleague John Francis Barenzi, who recently died to heart-related diseases, we teamed with UHI to promote Cardiac issues,” Isaac Ilukor, Chairman of Vendors 99, the cohort that organized the matchday, remarked.
