On Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Uganda’s top rapper Gravity Omutujju, real name Gereson Wabuyi, will perform for his followers and dance and sing alongside them.
Gravity promised his followers a sold-out show at a press conference on Monday for his 2022 concert, “Tusimbudde Ani Alina Enene.” (In October – Gravity Omutujju will perform in Kampala )
Gravity promised to bring on some unexpected overseas performers in addition to his performance and those of other Ugandan artists.
The event is going to be huge here in Lugogo on October 1st. This time, things are strange and different from how they’ve always gone in my previous gigs. For the enjoyment of our followers, we have invested in and introduced new stuff, according to Gravity Omutujju.
Gravity also stated that there are three different ticket prices for the concert: ordinary ($10,000), VIP ($30,000), and table ($1,000,000).
MTN Uganda’s Mavis Musungu Ndagire announced during the Gravity Omutujju press conference that MTN is covering the cost of concert tickets for supporters who pay with MTN MoMo at the door.
Mavis also mentioned a TikTok competition that MTN customers can participate in for a chance to win Ugx. 500,000 and 20 tickets. Customers can download Gravity Omutujju’s Caller Tune, dance or sing along to any of his tracks, and upload on TikTok with the hashtag #MTNCallerTunez.
