Balaam Barugahara, the owner of Radio 4, said on his Facebook page on Thursday afternoon that Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz had written a song for the president of Uganda.
“Thank You Diamond Platinum for the New Classic hit for Mzee Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,” was the message on his post.
Balaam’s post immediately drew responses from netizens, the majority of whom wanted to know more about the song, despite the fact that he didn’t provide any other information on the new project.
However, other Facebook users used the opportunity to remind him of how the previous candidate who got Diamond to record a song for them failed spectacularly in their campaign for the president.
Remember that the Wasafi leader supported Raila Odinga during the just-completed Kenyan presidential elections.
