After a couple of weeks, renowned fashion guru Abryanz regained access to his Facebook and Instagram accounts that had been compromised by a hacker – Abryanz recovers hacked IG and Facebook accounts
For weeks, Abryanz Collections CEO Brian Ahumuza has been out of touch with his massively followed Facebook and Instagram pages.
Information acquired suggests that the accounts were suspended by Meta for violation of Community Standards, very much to the shock of the famed fashion guru.
It was only afterwards determined that a malevolent hacker had acquired control of the accounts and posted stuff which goes against Meta’s regulations.
While speaking to Mbu.ug, Abryanz noted that he has always been mindful of what he shares on his sites and he makes sure it sits well with the community norms.
When the pages were suspended, Abryanz got in touch with a handful of tech gurus who helped him regain control of his accounts.
Over the weekend, the ASFAs boss announced having regained access to his accounts and thanked the persons that helped him contact Meta.
He remarked how hard it was to retrieve the pages and how difficult it has been for him to even consider that he was about to permanently lose the accounts that he has maintained over several years.
Hey everyone, delighted to notify you that I’m back on the meta verse. My Facebook and Instagram sites have been down for a week because someone hacked into my accounts posted trash and got Facebook erase them for breaking terms.
This is not new as every year during ASFAs, hackers usually try to get onto my pages. Been dealing with this on low key, but I reached out to other friends who were all really very helpful. A Special thanks for y’all’s help.
Secondly, this serves as a caution to every one, be wary of the links and emails you open. Don’t click on anything strange, from somebody you don’t know!
They say social media promotes depression but mine was coming from not having access to my accounts. Anyway, I know you missed me, I’m back, moods are high, content is pilled and ASFAs are still on, I’m ready!
