Kyomuhangi revealed in an interview with Annatalia on Sanyuka TV that Charles James Ssenkubuge caught her attention while she was a member of the drama group.
She also grew attached to him despite being a student in the Advanced Level of schooling, and they eventually began dating in secret without the knowledge of the other members of the group.
As time passed, she became pregnant before she could even sit for her final examinations for the advanced level of study, but fortunately, she was still able to pass them because her growing belly concealed her pregnancy.
She went on to have two children with Ssenkubuge, a married man, despite the fact that she was well aware of this and had hoped to marry him as well.

As Charles James Ssenkubuge persisted in marrying his virtuous bride, Kyomuhangi was forced to accept the conclusion, crushing her expectations.
She claims that because she is co-parenting with her baby’s father and leading a happy single life, she does not regret anything that occurred between her and Ssenkubuge.
