He is the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. Sulaiman Sempala’s seven children, he was born into a large family.
He revealed that he left school shortly after enrolling at Makerere University because of his love and passion for music.
The “Nkomawo” singer talked openly about his educational journey during an interview on Bukedde TV.

Big Eye related that he completed his Primary level coursework at Kaazo Junior before transferring to St. Mary’s to complete his O-level.
After succeeding academically, he enrolled in Kololo High to complete his A-levels.
Big Eye, a native of Kololo, enrolled at Makerere University to seek a degree in computer science but then changed his mind and opted to focus mostly on music.
He had a breakthrough hit song during that time, which made him abandon his studies in favor of music because he had begun to make some nice money.

I was pursuing a degree in computer science at Makerere University. But after I had a big song, I stopped going to school since my talent was better than my work. That’s how I ended up stopping my studies.
