With the rising prices of essential commodities such as fuel, salt, and soap, among others, several Ugandans have petitioned the government to provide solutions.
Big Eye’s voice is joined by several others in his new song “Uganda Olemwa.“
Listening to the song’s lyrics, the singer can be heard sending a strong message to the government to curb rising commodity prices.
Big Eye, real name Ibrahim Mayanja, has long been disliked by most Ugandans who support the opposition because he frequently supports the ruling regime.
He now appears to have abandoned his support for the government, pleading with those in power to provide solutions for Ugandans in need.
Critics have already questioned Big Eye’s turnaround, claiming that he is merely seeking public sympathy in order to return to the stage to perform.
It should be noted that in recent months, music fans have repeatedly forced Big Eye off stage due to his government allegiance. (Olemwa – Uganda: Big Eye In a new song – Starboss makes a U-turn and slams the government (AUDIO) – Etertainment news 2022)
