The Inter-university Ramadan competition hosted at Islamic Call University College saw Kampala University emerge victorious.
Cavendish University, Islamic Call University College, IUIU main and female campuses, Kampala International University, Makerere University, Kibuli, and Kabale Teacher’s College all outperformed Kampala University.
The Quran, according to Professor Badru Kateregga, vice chancellor of Kampala University, is Islam’s greatest miracle.
“The holy Quran is Islam’s greatest miracle,” Prof Badru added. “It is replete with regulations, but it is not a law book, it is filled with knowledge, it is a guide and manual to mankind.”
The Mohammed VI Foundation of Africa organized the Ramadan competition. The competition included both universities and secondary schools, with the secondary school finals slated for Wednesday.
