Sheebah has dominated news headlines for more than a week after openly stating that she was sexually abused by a VIP.
The former TNS singer did not mention the name of the man who indecently assaulted her in her car before a concert in a video posted to social media.
People reacted differently to Sheebah’s charges, with some wondering who the individual in issue could have been.
Five days later, renowned journalist Andrew Mwenda summoned Sheebah to explain what had happened to her and who had assaulted her after a few people online began pointing fingers at him.
Sheebah did actually follow Mwenda’s instructions and filed an official complaint, according to a statement released by Uganda Police on Tuesday evening.

CP Fred Enanga, a police spokesman, stated that Sheebah provided all of the necessary data regarding the unfortunate incident, and that the CID is investigating the matter.
