Sheilah Gashumba, an NBS TV personality and the daughter of Frank Gashumba, described how four boda boda riders followed her and she felt threatened with death because of political reasons.
Sheilah Gashumba reported getting threats related to politics in a tweet she posted at 1:50am on Sunday.
She claims that after receiving threats via her social media accounts, a physical altercation took place on Saturday night.
Sheilah Gashumba was being trailed by four helmet-wearing boda boda riders as she left a concert on Jinja Road.
She claims that the only time the boda boda lost track of her was when her driver took a detour.
Sheilah was serving as the event’s emcee, according to her social media feeds found by Mbu.ug, at the “Vuma Piano” event hosted at Zone 7 Bar in Bugolobi.
I don’t like politics! People have been sending me political threats on my social media accounts for the past few days, Sheilah Gashumba tweeted.
Four boda riders carrying helmeted passengers followed my car from my gig to Jinja Road today until my driver took a detour! Do you intend to kill me?
The vivacious TV host said in another tweet that she avoids politics and finds it incomprehensible that her life is in danger due to problems she is unaware of.
“All I do is take care of my own business, work hard, and have fun! Threatening my life over scandals I’m unaware of is absurd,” the woman added.
Politics don’t interest me.
