On Tuesday, NEMA named Judith Heard, a well-known Ugandan philanthropist, model, and socialite, as the National Environment Goodwill Ambassador. (Judith Heard is named as the National Environment Goodwill Ambassador)
Judith Heard was crowned 2022 Miss Environment Africa International in Mumbai, India, for her efforts to promote environmental conservation.
JH, the reigning Miss Elite Africa, has served her country at various stages of her career and has been recognized for her accomplishments.
Judith Heard thanked NEMA for recognizing her conservation work and dedication when receiving her new position.
I am really delighted to have been selected as the National Ambassador. Under the direction of the National Environment Management Authority, I accept the responsibility of advocating environmental conservation.
I am grateful to Dr. Akankwasa Barirega for acknowledging my conservation efforts and dedication. I’d also like to thank NEMA’s board, administration, and staff for their efforts in achieving the goals of the 2015-2025 National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.
She committed to assisting NEMA in its efforts to find, create, and advocate for programs that promote environmental conservation.
